11月23日，菲律宾警方在八打雁省(Batangas)Agoncillo镇捣毁一个制售走私及假冒香烟团伙，逮捕33人，其中包括7名中国人。此次行动共计查获价值约2200万披索的672箱走私香烟以及价值约为3亿披索的制烟机器、设备、原材料以及车辆。
当地时间11月26日，菲律宾警方在内湖省(Laguna)圣保罗市(SanPablo)的行动中，查获价值200万披索的假烟，逮捕一名菲律宾女子。
警方表示，这些假烟的来源是一名中国公民，而被捕的嫌犯只是下游经销商。当局正在对此展开深入调查。
