菲律宾部分监狱超额2700%
廉政法庭大法官米兰达周五表示，菲国一些监狱的拥挤率已达到2700%。
米兰达在接受采访时说：“我们监狱的平均拥挤率约为376%。但在某些监狱中，拥挤率已达到2,700%。”
廉政法庭的官员表示，当局正在考虑降低保释费，作为缓解菲国监狱拥挤状况的方法之一。
他说：“也许我们可以让保释金更便宜。他们中的大多数都是无力支付保释金的贫困者。”
米兰达说，如果犯罪行为可以保释且不严重，罪犯应该能够保释，以避免拘留设施拥挤。
