菲律宾马尼拉，2023年12月18日-莱特省(Leyte)一名七岁受害者于12月14日失踪。经过对该地区的闭路电视监控录像的调查后，发现受害者是在与家里的一名男佣一同外出后未能返回。
当警察询问嫌疑人时，他声称已经把孩子留在了一片草地上并将其置于死地。
次日，警方立即赶赴现场，并在那里发现了受害人的尸体。
嫌疑人声称他之所以对孩子做出这样的行为，是为了报复据称被受害者母亲殴打的兄弟。目前嫌疑人已被警方逮捕。
据警方称，嫌疑人之前因毒品问题而被监禁。
