据柬媒消息，8月3日上午，洪森首相在出席金边三环路通车仪式时宣布，今天是他最后一次以“首相”身份发表演讲。
洪森说，未来国家基础设施启用仪式将由新任首相出席，包括于今年10月中旬启用的暹粒新国际机场。
应提的是，7月26日，洪森首相在发表全国讲话时宣布，在新一届政府不再继续担任首相职务，并将于8月22日正式卸任，新首相将由洪玛耐担任。
