据柬媒消息，7月25日，前救国党在沈良西脸书发布声明，拒绝承认柬埔寨第七届国会选举的结果。
声明指出，7月23日举行的选举是个虚假的选举，因为真正的反对派——烛光党被踢出局。此外，在选举和计票过程中，人民也被洪森首相发帖威胁，包括投废票行动等。
前救国党呼吁国际社会不要承认柬埔寨的大选结果，更不要承认新政府。
当天，沈良西还宣布将于今日（26日）在泰国曼谷出席新闻发布会。
