当地时间8月5日晚间，菲律宾描仁瑞拉市(Valenzuela)Bagbaguin社区的一个仓库被大火烧毁，仓库内存放杂货及电器用品。
根据仓库工人称，他们首先听到爆炸声，然后仓库的一部分地区就着火了。
晚间7点12分，菲消防局将火警级别提升至四级，因为仓库其中一部分存放酒精饮料，火情若扩散至该区域将导致更多的损失。
晚间8点47分左后，当局宣布已经控制火势，一个小时后宣布扑灭大火。
