据柬埔寨桔井省警方指出，7月29日下午，该省辞隆县发生一起雷击事故，导致1人死亡和2人受重伤。
警方透露，昨天下午，上述3人前去放牛，突然下大雨，他们到一处小亭子避雨，当他们在亭子里时，不幸遭到雷击，致使1人当场死亡以及2人受重伤。
事发后，附件居民前来救援，将伤者送医急救。而死者遗体已被移交其家属办理后事。
地方当局呼吁民众，最近出现雷雨天气，请大家注意安全，以防发生意外事故。
