据柬媒消息，洪森首相长子洪玛耐被西哈莫尼国王任命为新首相后，各界人士纷纷发来贺电。8月8日上午，洪玛耐通过脸书表示感谢。
洪玛耐指出，这些祝贺是对自己莫大的鼓励，自己将尽己所能，履行为祖国和人民服务的崇高使命，维护国家和平、稳定与繁荣，加强国家经济增长，提高人民生活水平，以及提高柬埔寨在国际上的地位。
8月7日上午，西哈莫尼国王签署《王令》，正式任命洪玛耐为第七届政府首相。
