据柬媒消息，8月1日，仙女机构吴哥文化与旅游发展局长沈速迪拉透露，今年前7个月，吴哥窟接待游客达264万3061人次。
沈速迪拉指出，在此期间，前来参观吴哥窟的外国游客共有43万9365人次，而本地游客共220万3696人次。
他说，暹粒新国际机场将于10月中旬投入启用，届时吴哥窟有望接待更多的外国游客。
据仙女机构发布的报告显示，今年前7个月，共计43万9365名国际游客购买吴哥门票，同比增长约400%；门票收入2031万7345美元，同比增长约500%。
