28日上午，金边市警察局发言人善速西哈向媒体记者透露，金边警局将出动3400名警力为柬埔寨即将举办的第32届东南亚运动会及第12届东盟残疾人运动会保驾护航。
他说，在金边市警察局局长苏通的指示下，东运会期间金边警局将出动3400名警力以维护公共治安秩序，以及协助指挥交通等。
据悉，第32届东南亚运动会将于5月5日隆重举办开幕式，届时洪森总理将出席主持，本次东运会共计11个国家参加，国家警察总署将出动近2万名警员维护公共治安秩序
