244名柬埔寨蓝盔官兵于本月6日凌晨启程赴中非，接替已完成维和任务回国的柬蓝盔官兵。
国务部长波沙伦、国家维和扫雷部队中心（NPMEC）主任森速万尼亲赴机场欢送。
据悉，自2006年至今，柬埔寨已累计派遣7000多位蓝盔官兵赴海外参与联合国维和行动，包括苏丹、南苏丹、中非、黎巴嫩和马里等。
