一名官员称，暹粒省当局在该市的公路扩建过程中发现了一批埋在路边的未爆炸手榴弹。
这名官员说，当局周六在暹粒市DopMakara高中附近发现了325多枚旧手榴弹，埋在地下约半米深的地方。
他说，今天工作人员挖地并在地下安装电信电缆时发现了这些东西。
排雷队被召集到现场。
根据CMAC排雷小组的说法，这些未爆物品一旦被击中就会爆炸，预计会有更多未爆物品被发现。因为还有约20%的地方还未排雷。
学校院落也被封锁，以防止人们靠近现场。
