当地时间3月27日，菲律宾八打雁省(Batangas)一名砍伤他人的男子因作势要攻击前来逮捕他的警察而被击毙。
PadreGarcia警察局接到TeodoroFortus的报警电话，声称他的儿子Joshua在Bukal社区SitioIbaba遭到一名身份不明并手持长刀的男子砍伤。受害者随后被立即送往医院，目前正在接受治疗。
一名热心民众向警方报告了嫌疑人可能藏身的地点，而警方赶往Quilo-quiloSouth社区的SitioBauan时，发现了手持长刀的嫌犯。
警方及社区官员当时呼吁嫌疑人投降，但嫌疑人作势要攻击警方，促使后者开枪自卫。嫌疑人中弹后被送往医院，但被宣布到院前已死亡。
