菲律宾总统小费迪南德·马科斯(FerdinandMarcosJr.)希望菲律宾未来能够自己制造农业机械，以减少该国对进口的依赖。
马科斯表示，菲律宾必须发展生产农业机械的能力，并引用了菲律宾收成后发展与机械化中心(PhilMech)与外国合作伙伴共同努力的成果。
