作为菲律宾芒果之都的吉马拉斯省(Guimaras)宣布将为即将到来的芒果节预留了10吨的新鲜芒果。
据悉，地方政府将在5月19日至22日举行芒果吃到饱活动，这一活动将是该地区年度芒果节的高潮。
尽管今年的芒果供应量比往年少，但吉马拉斯省农业办公室保证仍然有足够的芒果供应给游客和当地人。
省农业学家阿尔文·纳瓦(AlvinNava)表示，供应减少是由于生产季节开始时的拉尼娜现象。
