菲律宾警方及缉毒署成员3月31清晨在碧瑶市（Baguio）一栋房日屋内查获近580公斤、案值约为40亿披索的毒品，逮捕一名中国人。
被捕中国公民为惠某。警方称，这次行动是根据当地法院签发的搜查令进行的。
这是迄今为止在碧瑶市查获的最大数量的冰毒。嫌犯将面临违反第9165号共和国法令或2002年《综合危险药物法》的指控。嫌疑人自称只是房屋的看管人。
