据泰国媒体报道，当地时间17日凌晨3时左右，泰国东北部呵叻府境内发生一起皮卡车失控撞树事故，导致车上9人中5人遇难，4人受伤。
报道说，这辆皮卡车在行经一处僻静的乡村公路弯道时失控冲出道路，撞到一棵大树后翻车，车辆严重受损。
救援人员得知消息后赶到现场，使用切割机切割受损车身帮助被困车内人员，并将死者和伤者全部送往当地医院。具体事故原因警方正在调查之中。
