闭路电视录像正好拍到受害者MacarioDomingoJr.正在涉水，随后靠在灯柱上，然后跌倒。
附近居民在看到情况后立即将其送往医院，但在抵达时被宣布死亡。
社区官员表示，他们此前未收到有关灯柱漏电或触电的报告，而且该灯柱属于附近住宅区协会管辖。
