当地时间10月26日，菲律宾总统小费迪南德·马科斯(Ferdinand"Bongbong"MarcosJr.)表示，周二深夜阿布拉省(Abra)发生6.4级地震后，他一直在监测北吕宋一些省份的情况。
他在接受采访时表示，受灾居民急需帐篷以及食品和饮用水，他们由于害怕余震而不敢回到自己的住家。
据悉，北伊罗戈省(IlocosNorte)、南伊罗戈省(IlocosSur)和阿布拉省部分地区的电力供应已经恢复。
