当地时间10月28日晚间，菲律宾民防办公室表示，受热带风暴“巴英”(Paeng)的影响，全国各地已报告至少67人死亡，救援人员目前还在尽全力搜救被泥土掩埋的山村。
据悉，北马银兰佬省(MaguindanaodelNorte)DatuOdinSinsuat镇的Kusiong社区突发山体滑坡，导致整个村庄被“冲走”，目前已录得至少50人死亡，
此外，附近的DatuBlahSinsuat镇和Upi镇也录得至少17人死亡。根据官方数据，仍有11人失踪，31人受伤。
