当地时间8月17日(周三)凌晨4点40分左右，菲律宾一名男子在位于加洛干市(CaloocanCity)的轻轨电车1号线Monumento站面对迎面而来的电车时，突然跳到了轨道上，促使当局暂停一个小时的运营。
轻轨电车公司发言人杰奎琳·戈罗斯佩(JacquelineGorospe)在声明中表示，该名男性乘客于凌晨4点40分左右跳上了一号线电车的轨道，当时一列向北行驶的电车正在接近Monumento站。
加洛干市警方确认伤者为31岁男子圣胡安(GeorickSanJuan)，他在事件中失去了右脚，目前情况危急，正在加洛干市的一家医院接受治疗。
