当地时间11月21日，菲律宾马尼拉市罗哈斯大道(RoxasBlvd)美国大使馆前被遗落的可疑摩托车顶箱引起了附近民众的恐慌。
在发现被遗弃的摩托车顶箱后，马尼拉警区反爆炸科立即响应并临时封锁了部分车道，导致附近交通变得更为拥堵。
当局随后表示此事为虚惊一场，因为顶盒是空的。
菲律宾警方日前宣布将加强戒备，特别是美国副总统哈里斯正在对该国展开正式访问。
