当地时间10月3日，菲律宾萨马省(Samar)Basey镇一名19岁学生意外刺死32岁的高中老师。
当地警方表示，死者为Basey镇国立高中的科学老师的GeorgeLauron，他因胸部被刺而不幸死亡。
根据调查，凌晨2点左右，受害者及嫌犯与其他朋友在前者的宿舍内饮酒。
警方表示：“在饮酒期间，两人发生了激烈的争吵，这促使嫌疑人用刀刺向受害者的胸部。”
嫌疑人KurtLancanan在案发30分钟后向警方自首，目前被拘留在当地警察局并将面临谋杀指控。
