菲律宾黎刹省(Rizal)Angono镇将从下个月开始禁止使用塑料和聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料的材料包装商品。
市长JeriMaeCalderon表示，计划于下个月实施的第11-618号市政条例规定，禁止使用泡沫塑料盒、塑料袋和小袋作为包括食品在内的产品的包装。
对于违规者，罚款将从500-2000披索不等。对于屡次违规的企业，则可能面临吊销营业执照。
过去几周，当地环境部门办公室以违规通知的形式对公共市场的一些摊贩发出警告。
市长表示，塑料和泡沫塑料产品堵塞该镇水道，导致该地区过去几年洪水泛滥。
