据菲媒报道，菲律宾国家警察局（PNP）7月12日表示，来自中国毒枭经营的金三角贩毒集团是近期缉毒行动中被没收的大量毒品的幕后黑手。与此同时，最高法院（SC）确认了一名马来西亚人的毒品进口定罪，该名马来西亚人于2010年因涉嫌持有5,918克毒品而在尼诺阿基诺国际机场被捕。在本周一（11日）上传到SC网站的一项裁决中，高等法院驳回了嫌疑人叶某某以缺乏依据为由驳回此案的上诉。最高法院维持了帕赛法院的判决，认定他犯有贩毒罪。
