菲律宾总统杜特地将于周一下午5点左右前往达沃市的DanielR.Aguinaldo国立高中进行投票。作为安全协议的一部分，该校选举官员以及相关媒体人员都被要求进行新冠抗原检测。
菲总统安全小组当天已经禁止11名结果呈阳性的媒体人员继续采访报道。
杜特地在结束投票后发表讲话：“我即将卸任总统职务，我衷心感谢你们达沃人，是你们开启了我的“旅程”，我的马拉坎南宫之旅。我是RodrigoDuterte，你们的仆人，非常感谢。”
学校外的支持者随后大喊“Duterte”，这时杜特地回应称：“喂！你们这些疯子，我已经不是候选人。非常感谢你们。”
