宿务省(Cebu)Cordova镇长于周二(8月17日)证实，当局在Cordova镇水域检测出高浓度的大肠杆菌。
镇长西萨·苏安(Cesar“Didoy”Suan)表示，根据环境部(DENR)进行的测试，Cordova水域中的大肠杆菌超出了正常水平。
该机构的研究表明，该地水域的每100毫升水中大肠杆菌菌数达到了1,300个最大可能数(MPN)。
苏安解释道：“按道理，大肠杆菌菌数应保持在100以下，才能让游客下水游泳。”
