为庆祝三八国际妇女节的到来，菲交通部宣布在3月8日的特定时段女性通勤者可免费乘坐大岷电车三号线(MRT-3)。
菲交通部表示，免费乘车时间分别为早上7点至9点以及下午5点至晚上7点。
大岷电车三号线管理层表示：“我们与整个国家一起庆祝和致敬每一位菲律宾女性的奉献精神、卓越精神和内心才华。我们希望在特殊的日子通过免费乘车给女性带来欢乐。”
