据消息称，菲律宾现已承认梵蒂冈罗马教廷的国家COVID-19疫苗接种证书。这一发展是在新兴传染病机构间工作组(IATF)批准了梵蒂冈的疫苗接种证明之后发生的。
代理总统发言人马丁·安达纳尔在周三的宫殿新闻发布会上宣布：“机构间工作组批准了由罗马教廷颁发的国家疫苗接种证书，用于抵达检疫协议和区域间/区域内的流动。”
检疫局、交通部一站式服务中心和移民局受命承认罗马教廷的疫苗接种证书。
据IATF秘书处称，迄今为止，有77个国家、地区和司法管辖区拥有批准的国家疫苗接种证书。
