菲律宾OCTA研究小组专家吉多·大卫(GuidoDavid)周二表示，随着全国候选人竞选活动的开始，诸如造势大会的大型活动极有可能成为新冠肺炎病毒的“超级传播”事件。
大卫表示，竞选活动肯定有变成新冠病毒“超级传播事件”的风险，特别是如果人们不遵守基本卫生检疫措施且没有接种新冠疫苗。
周二，各路总统候选人在全国不同地区开始了他们的竞选活动，吸引了成千上万的支持者。
与此同时，菲卫生部长弗朗西斯科·杜克日前也提醒候选人及其支持者确保在举办活动时严格遵守健康和安全协议。
