菲律宾卫生部周三表示，菲律宾又记录了3例与奥密克戎相关的死亡病例，使死亡人数增加到5例。
据卫生部副部长玛丽亚·罗萨里奥·维吉尔称，这三名死者是老年人并患有合并症。
卫生部表示，新报告的三起死亡病例的疫苗接种状况仍在核实中，而此前报告的两起未接种疫苗的死亡病例中，有一名在核实后部分接种了疫苗。
