菲律宾总统杜特地周六再次前往受台风“阿加藤”(Agaton)影响的灾区进行空中视察并慰问当地灾民。
杜特地当天乘坐直升飞机了解卡皮斯省(Capiz)Pontevedra镇的受灾程度，并前往当地的一个避难中心，向灾民分发急需的救援物资。
前日，杜特地前往莱特省(Leyte)的Baybay市。据报道，由于严重的山体滑坡，该市已报告至少百人死亡，仍有百人失踪。
杜特地在讲话中向灾民保证了食品供应，并指示人类住区和城市发展部部长EduardodelRosario坐镇灾区，以监督房屋修复等活动。
