菲入境旅客同比下降72%
菲律宾移民局统计数据显示，2021年前九个月入境旅客的人数与去年同期相比减少72%。
移民局长莫仁地称，今年1-9月入境菲律宾的旅客人数为893886人，远低于去年同期的320万人。他说：“这个数字跟疫情前就更没法比了。2019年前三季度我们有1260万入境旅客。”
莫仁地表示，2020年的320万入境旅客中有280万人是在菲律宾爆发疫情前抵境的。
