今年前11个月菲律宾移民局驱逐3400人，其中中国人占2875人
菲律宾移民局近日公布的数据显示，2021年1月到11月，共有3143名外国人被移民局驱逐出境。
该机构表示，上述人士中多数为中国人，占2875人，其次是韩国人(90人)、越南人(81人)、日本人(27人)以及美国人(19人)。
菲移民局在2020年共计驱逐3219名外国人，其中许多人因为是逃犯、不受欢迎或逾期居留而被捕。
另一方面，移民局长海梅·莫伦特表示：“新冠疫情不会成为清除这些非法外国公民的障碍。公然违反该国法律的外国人将被驱逐出境并列入黑名单。”
