10月14日，中国驻菲律宾大使宣布，中国北京将再向马尼拉捐赠100万剂科兴新冠疫苗。
黄溪连在脸书（Facebook）上说：“我很高兴地通知，中国政府决定再向菲律宾捐赠100万剂科兴新冠疫苗。”
在新捐赠的消息传出之前，中国已经向菲律宾运送了100万剂中国科兴疫苗，以及另外100万剂国药新冠疫苗。
