周一，卫生部表示，菲又发现279例德尔塔变异病例，其中，2例仍在治疗，8例死亡，267病康复。截止目前，菲德尔塔变异例数已累计2068例。
在新增的279个德尔塔变异病毒病例中，245个是本地人，21个是海外归来的菲律宾人（ROF），还有13个病例目前正在核实是本地人还是ROF病例。
