律宾戒严49周年激进组织在马尼拉市多地举行示威
9月21日，菲律宾前总统马科斯宣布戒严49周年之际，多个激进组织在首都区举行示威抗议活动，其中包括马尼拉市的中国城、孟屡拉区(Mendiola)以及LiwasangBonifacio公园。
抗议者敦促公众“不要忘记暴行的历史”以及“为菲律宾民主的不断斗争”，特别是在新冠肺炎疫情下感染病例依然不断上升，而审计署也发现政府抗议资金疑似违规使用的情况。
由于中国城附近的示威活动逐渐无法受控，因此警方使用水柱来驱散示威者。
