当地时间9月30日，菲律宾国家警察表示，北伊罗戈省(IlocosNorte)Dingras市前市长MarynetteGamboa近日在内湖省(Laguna)被捕，原因是其涉及一项谋杀案件。
Gamboa被视为北伊罗戈省第二号通缉犯，被指控为2009年杀害LorenzoReyRuiz的主谋。
Ruiz当时是北伊罗戈省电力合作社的总裁。
北伊罗戈省Batac市地区审判法院于2022年7月11日下令逮捕Gamboa，不建议保释。
