泰国国家警察总署警总长丹隆萨警上将，31日天就巴革警署机械库丢失159把枪支事件召开紧急会议，指出要是不及时追回这些武器，一旦流入民间后危害无法估计。
据悉，事件被曝光后，在20日晚上有人将31把手枪偷偷丢在了巴革警署俱乐部，剩下的还在追查中。
丹隆萨警上将表示，偷窃枪枝的是巴革警署商务部门的警员朝瓦力，从警署机械库窃取159把枪枝，该名警员沉迷赌博无法自拔，因此在5年的时间内，从警署偷盗了159把枪支出售，这些枪支大部分被典当给了赌场。
